How the season works
Schools register and are grouped by state. Trained teacher-coaches prepare their teams, and certified referees officiate state preliminaries across the country.
The best teams from each state advance to the national finals, the Aketi Bowl, named in honour of the late Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu. Aketi Bowl IV takes place in Abuja from 16 to 19 November 2026, after the national tour from 20 to 30 October.
Open to secondary-school students aged 10–18, boys and girls.
