Girls lead here
Gridiron Gems gives girls a place to play flag football safely, learn from women coaches and officials, and grow as leaders off the field.
Highlights so far include the Gems Summit at Aketi Bowl III in Abuja, camps with the Bemore Empowered Foundation in Oyo and Imo, and four months of training at the Special Correctional Centre for Girls, Idi-Araba, using flag football for social rehabilitation.
The Gems Mentorship Program (GCMP) adds mentoring, health education and skills training.
