Putting gear in the hands of young players. The Cleveland Browns are donating more than 2,000 footballs and NFL FLAG 5,000 flag kits for schools, universities, community programmes and leagues across Nigeria.

No ball, no game.
NAFA's current five-year plan reaches more than 4,000 secondary schools — under 4% of Nigeria's total. Its goal is 20%. For most schools, the first barrier is simply equipment.
The programme launched in Lagos in June 2026 with a ceremonial ball, a showcase game by four NSSFFL teams, and personalised footballs for Team Nigeria players and coaches. Equipment goes to secondary schools through NSSF coordinators, to universities through NUGA, and to community programmes and existing leagues.
