Overview
Champions of Africa, building toward LA 2028.
In June 2025, at Club One Maadi Stadium in Cairo, Nigeria won both titles at the first IFAF Africa Flag Football Championships and qualified for the 2026 IFAF Flag World Championships. The Browns' Gridiron Gems programme included support for the women's national team.
Nigeria's national teams are governed by the Nigerian Federation of American Football (NFAF), recognised by the National Sports Commission in 2026. NAFA, IFAF's associate member for Nigeria, supports the teams as a programme partner.
