Nigeria Collegiate Flag Football League
Flag football for Nigeria's universities, colleges and polytechnics. Announced in July 2025 with the backing of NUGA, NPUGA and the NSSF, the NCFFL gives students — many of them NSSFFL graduates — a place to keep playing.
NCFFL
Overview
Keeping players in the game after school.
The league starts with a pilot of exhibitions in the Southwest, then expands across Nigeria's six geopolitical zones, with a goal of training more than 1,000 student-athletes.
At the first exhibition, 65% of the athletes were playing for the first time and about a quarter had come through the NSSFFL. Community Flag Football League teams trained them for five weeks beforehand.
